Introducing Destination Wedding Photography for 2018

Not getting married in Las Vegas? No problem! We travel.  Actually, anyone that knows us, knows we love to travel.  Traveling is good for the soul.  We especially love to photograph in different environments.  As much as we love Las Vegas and that dreamy desert light, it's also refreshing to shoot in new places. It keeps us feeling invigorated and creative.  We took a short break from offering destination weddings, but we're back and cannot wait to photograph weddings in some pretty amazing locations!

Wether you're having a dream destination wedding or if you'd like to take us to your hometown, here's why having us photograph your wedding is a great idea:

  • You get the photos you want on your wedding day!  You'll get us and our easy-breezy style! We'll capture and preserve all the amazingness that is your wedding day organically.  We'll have you relaxed and laughing during your photo session, we'll treat your family like our own, and document all those special little moments that will make your wedding day unforgettable.  No cookie-cutter images from us.

  • We're there for you!  We'll research your venue and location ahead of time and work together with you and your wedding coordinator to ensure we get those breathtaking views and images you want.  Once there, we'll scout your venue with fresh eyes and find the best spots for your photos.  We'll be just as excited as you are to explore and experience your venue and location and that will be reflected in your wedding day photos.

  • We can tell the entire story of your destination wedding day! We're traveling for you and if it's a destination wedding, so are you and your guests.  Wouldn't it be awesome to have, not just the wedding day photographed, but also the rehearsal dinner,  brunch, and even some additional day-after bride and groom portraits to show off just why you chose your location in the first place? Yea, we can be there for throughout the whole experience and really capture it all!

  • No Travel Fees! We're so excited that, for 2018, we're waiving all travel fees to California, Arizona, and Utah!  Travel fees to anywhere else in the continental United States and some Caribbean locations will be a flat fee of $500 for 2018. Getting married somewhere else, let's chat because we'd love to provide you with a great customized offer too! This is huge and it can seriously be more cost effective for you.

So, if you're planning a destination wedding or if just like our style and want us there for you on your wedding day, let's chat and make it happen! We'd love to be the ones who get to tell your wedding day story!

Las Vegas Destination Elopement Samantha + Chris

Samantha and Chris traveled with their 2 best friends all the way from Scotland to get married in the Las Vegas desert! We communicated great via email and we were able to coordinate an amazing elopement for them in at the El Dorado Canyon Ghost Town located in Nelson Nevada, about a 60-minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip.

The small group rented a limo for the 1 hr drive, this way they didn't have to worry about directions or getting lost and they could just enjoy the ride and take it all in.  It really is a beautiful view once you start to get out of the city and the vast desert landscape takes over!

Everyone arrived refreshed and ready to have a great time, albeit they may have been a few nerves, but nothing out of the ordinary! Samantha looked beautiful in her boho dress and spotless hair and makeup done by the talented crew of Makeup in the 702.  We absolutely loved how Chris and the guys dressed in their traditional Scottish kilts to pay homage to their heritage.  Angie, from Peachy Keen Unions, officiated the ceremony and it was absolutely lovely.  We set up in an open patch amongst the pretty cholla cacti - careful to not get pricked!

After the ceremony, we walked around and explored the area.  El Dorado Canyon has a lot of old cars, antiques, and barns, so it makes it super fun to get creative and use these unique props.  Samantha had told me they were both shy and not used to having their photos taken.  I told her not to worry, most people get nervous and aren't used to having their photos taken.  It's totally natural and our jobs as photographers is to help guide them and give cues on poses and help create scenarios where our couples can relax and be themselves! So, Samantha and Chris, and all our couples, never had to worry about what to do next, who to look at, our how to pose.  I gotta tell you, these two totally rocked it! They were able to relax and enjoy our time together during their session and were just so happy to be newlyweds.  And, we were so happy we got to be there for them to capture it all!

Las Vegas Destination Wedding | Jamie + Richard

Jamie and Richard are a super sweet San Jose couple who chose Las Vegas as their destination wedding, not only because the bride's mom is a Vegas local, but because Vegas was a central location for their other out of town guests and let's be honest, who doesn't want to come to Vegas! ;)

We were referred to the bride's mom, Debbie, by one of our amazing couples who's wedding we photographed at the beautiful Red Rock Country Club a few years back.  That is seriously the best compliment to us and our work and we're so grateful knowing that our couples were so happy with us and they recommend us to their friends and family.

Jamie and Richard got married at one of the chapels inside the Caesars Palace Hotel and Casino and although we didn't get to photograph their ceremony, due to their in-house photographer policy, we did meet up with them before for getting ready photos.   Jamie and Richard did not have a first look, but Jamie did do a reveal with her dad and I gotta say, it was so special!

We met back up with them after the ceremony and hung out with them for family and bridal party photos, and of course, photos of the new Mr. and Mrs. Maldonado! Then it was off to their reception at the Savoy Ballroom at the Tropicana Hotel and Casino for fun and dancing! As with so many weddings, guests and family mingled and caught up with each other.  Many who hadn't seen each other for awhile.  We just love how weddings can become family reunions!

J+R: May your love for Batman and each other never fade! XO
