Red Rock Country Club Wedding | Denise + Scott

So happy to share this sweet wedding today on the blog! Denise and Scott were married at Red Rock Country Club, one of our favorite venues in Las Vegas! Due to some rain showers and wind earlier in the day, they opted for an indoor ceremony, but we were lucky to be able to sneak outside for a few minutes to do bride and groom portraits before the rain came down again that day! Crazy, but yes, we do have a few rainy days in Las Vegas and this year the weather from winter to spring was especially wet and cold longer than usual. We’re back to normal now with temps in the upper 90s in June, though!

Denise and Scott chose to have a small wedding and reception with their close lifelong friends and family members. It was the perfect reunion and celebration of love for these two lovebirds!

Las Vegas Destination Wedding | Marissa + Eric

I am so excited to share Marissa and Eric’s gorgeous classic wedding today! We met Marissa and Eric on one of their trips to Vegas about 6 months before their wedding and we just loved them instantly! We knew we’d get along great and couldn’t wait for their wedding day to come. They chose Vegas because it’s one of their favorite destinations (YAY!) and with friends and family spread out throughout the country, it was the perfect place for everyone to meet up and party! We couldn’t agree more ;)

Having a destination wedding did not mean that they would skimp out on having an epic day! They had a huge bridal party of 13 of their closest friends and about 100 guests! You can tell these two are truly loved and after getting to know them, I can totally see why! They’re genuine and kind and just a lot of fun to be around.

I met Marissa in their suite at Mandalay Bay and Jason met up with Eric and the guys at a bar downstairs. So, while Marissa and her bridesmaids got their finishing touches with the amazing Makeup in the 702, Eric and the guys hung out, had some drinks, and waited for Marissa and her girls to come down. Marissa and Eric chose a first look, so we found a quite spot away from the busy hotel for them to have their moment and get to take it all in! It was the sweetest! The bridal party met up with us right after for some fun group shots around hotel grounds before heading to Paris Hotel for some photos of just our gorgeous bride and groom together.

They had their ceremony in the evening at the Valley of the Falls outdoor ceremony space at Mandalay Bay and then we all made our way to the super cool House of Blues Foundation Room VIP Club at the top of the hotel. They didn’t want a formal reception vibe but rather they wanted it to feel like a lounge and a place where everyone could chill on the balcony and enjoy the view of the strip at night. This was achieved by having a few round tables, but also having couches and tables with pillows, plus high bar tables throughout. It was the perfect venue for them and turned out to be an epic evening!

Las Vegas Neon Museum Elopement | Jessica + Wes

Some couples want a traditional big wedding surrounded by all their friends and family.  They want to show off their love and personalities from the invitations to the florals! They want to party and celebrate and stick to traditions.

Some couples want an intimate ceremony, without all the hoopla.  They want it to be about their personal commitment to each other.  They want to savor the moment all to themselves and throw traditions out the window.

Whether you are traditional, untraditional, or fall somewhere in between, know that your wedding day will be perfect for you and who you are and what your love stands for.  Your wedding day should be exactly how you want it to be, regardless of the size of your guest list. The one thing you can't do without, though, is amazing photographs!  Your wedding photos will be your heirlooms.  They will be what is left when the day is done.  Your photographs will stand the test of time and will be a reminder of how in love you were then and always will be.

Jessica + Wes chose to skip the traditions and decided that coming to Vegas with just her mom + brother were all they needed.  Jessica's brother officiated the ceremony privately and then knowing that they wanted some awesome photos to remember their day, they booked a photo shoot at The Neon Museum where they met up with us!  We had such a fun time with them and it was so beautiful to see how in love they are!  After our time at The Neon Museum, we took a quick drive over to Downtown's Fremont St. to get some more fun wedding photos around town with them! So, although they kept their celebration private, they now have some beautiful photos to share with all their loved ones back home. And, more importantly, they'll have these images to look back on at every anniversary to remind them of their amazing day and fall in love a little bit more each time!
