Las Vegas Destination Wedding | Amanda + John

We absolutely loved being a part of Amanda and John's wedding day! Not only are they genuinely kind and big-hearted people, their family and friends are too! They chose to come from New Jersey to have a destination wedding in Las Vegas because they wanted their wedding to be remembered as a fun and joyous occasion shared with their best friends and family.

One thing I loved about Amanda and John's wedding was that she paid attention to the details.  Just because you are having a destination wedding, doesn't mean you can't add your personal touches and make it special.  Amanda made sure their wedding day was exactly how they wanted it and added personal touches to her reception decor!  Destination weddings can still have all the elements of a traditional wedding, plus they give your friends and family a great getaway weekend! It's a win-win for everyone :)

After the getting-ready, Amanda and John chose to do a first look before their ceremony.  Amanda also had a first look with her dad, which was super special and sweet too!  After some portraits around Caesars Palace, where they were staying, they had their ceremony - which unfortunately we were unable to photograph.  But, we met up with them afterwards for their reception at one of our favorite destination wedding venues, Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak, and Stone Crab.  The restaurant is conveniently located inside the Forum Shops at Caesars, so it was a perfect choice for them!

Cili at Bali Hai Golf Club Wedding | Christine + Matt

Christine + Matt are a testament to how far one will go for true love.  Having met by chance at a conference in London - Matt living in Amsterdam, Christine living in the U.S.- anyone would have thought it was simply a few days of fun flirting. But, as life would have it this is not a story of a simple flirtation to pass the time at a work conference. No. This was meant to last. And it did. After countless Skype chats, text messages, phone calls, and trips to visit each, Christine eventually moved to Amsterdam to be with Matt and they've had an amazing adventure there. After a romantic proposal in Venice, Italy, Christine said yes and it was time to start planning the big day.  Having family and friends throughout the country, they settled on one of Matt's favorite cities, Las Vegas (cue Elvis theme song!) Just kidding, the "King" would not be making an appearance at Christine + Matt's gorgeous Cili Restaurant at Bali Hai Golf Club wedding.  There would however be lots of love, happy tears, and big hugs as these two tied the knot and became Mr. and Mrs. surrounded by their family and close friends.

The day started at the Bellagio, where Christine and her sister was getting dolled up by the team of Makeup in the 702 and Matt were getting ready in a separate suite with his brother.  We then made our way to the venue for some photos with family and friends before the ceremony.  After the ceremony, we took the newlyweds around the gorgeous palm tree filled property of Bali Hai Golf Course for some portraits and they enjoyed some time together before their reception, which was a total blast! After dinner service, the dance floor was soon full of friends and family celebrating a new chapter in Christine + Matt's love story.

C+M: We hope you enjoyed your much needed R&R on your tropical island honeymoon! We wish you a lifetime of adventures together! XO - Jessie & Jason
