Teresa and Juan came from my home state of Texas (yay!) to tie the knot. They brought along with them 30 of their closest friends and family to celebrate their union at Cili Restaurant at Bali Hai. This was the perfect venue for them because Juan loves to play golf and wanted a wedding at a golf club and because it is right on the south side of Las Vegas Blvd. it was easy for their friends and family to get there from their hotels on the strip. Teresa and her 7 bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done in their Delano hotel room by the talented team of Makeup in the 702. They then met us at Cili and Teresa used the bridal room there to change into her gorgeous wedding dress! Jason met Juan and his 6 groomsmen at Cili as well, while they also finished getting ready.
Since the bride and groom chose not to do a first look, we used the time we had before the ceremony to take photos of the bride and her bridesmaids and the groom and his groomsmen. We then let them have some time to refresh and relax before the ceremony, while we grabbed the ceremony and reception decor details.
After their ceremony on the lawn, we went directly into bride and groom portraits to take advantage of the beautiful sunset and pretty light! Following their formal portraits, Teresa and Juan were introduced at the reception and the new Mr. & Mrs. Salas. The groom's parents arranged for a surprise serenade by a mariachi group! It was such a sweet gift and it made everyone's night! After dinner they moved on to toasts, dances, and cake cutting. And, we ended the night with a pretty balloon send off for the newlyweds!
T+J: Thanks for having us capture your beautiful day! We hope you are enjoying your new life together and husband and wife! XO
